We had a superb morning on Saturday, with a relaxed morning at Fences Farm, where all the horses look in fantastic order. It was good to see Dave,Lynn, Chris and Rachel - all in to see their horses - and Chris and Rachel left with another one! C&R had been hoping to get up to Fences Farm, to see Go Millie Go, and finally made it on Saturday - despite getting lost in the hotel at the Milton Keynes Stadium, and arriving slightly behind time, we managed to get them up to the top of the hill to see their horses, Classic Ben and Land League do 2 canters. We then had a gentle stroll around the rest of the yard, and they got to meet Go Millie Go. She is a lovely mare, and they were very taken with her and purchased a share. This sale means that we will very shortly have the SOLD OUT signs up, as the available shares are getting very few and far between. Just one remains in Millie, one in Land League, and 4 in Lily - there is something to suit all budgets so get in touch as soon as possible if you want to enjoy some fun over this winter. Sadly there will be no Open Day at Fences Farm this year - but we will be hosting members of Whitwick Bloodstock Ltd at The Elms Stud tomorrow evening where they will get to see a selection of the 2 yr olds and yearlings that have been purchased to resell in the future. This is a very exciting venture that we began last year, and we could not be happier with the stock that we have purchased. They are by some of the best National Hunt sires in the book, including Crillon, Great Pretender, Saddler Maker, Coastal Path and we even have a 2 yr old by Nathaniel. These are very tax effective investments, and are part of the business that we will be looking to expand over the coming years.
