Runners This Week

It will be a busy week this week, with plenty of the horses getting entries. Saturday was a good day - we got to see some really nice pieces of work from Lily's Arc who has sharpened up for her debut and heads to Southwell next week, Queenohearts, who holds 2 entries this week, but will it be able to go to either - she will have entries from the 21st, in both mares and open company to maximise her chance of getting a run. Kaloci has had a bit of treatment for a stiff back - she really puts everything into every day of her life, and being a bit stiff is nothing new for her - she will continue to be entered, but does need it soft. Classic Ben worked well - his Exeter entry looks quite hot, so he will have entries at the weekend in both Uttoxeter and Fontwell. Pull Together worked very nicely and will miss Exeter, as that race looks red hot, and he would only run there if QOH was to travel. Instead - as he is such a good jumper at home, and has schooled as well as any of the chasers this autumn, he will have entries in Novice Handicaps off of his hurdle rating of 118 - starting in Fontwell on Sunday. Molly Childers ran another good race on Friday in Fontwell, just getting pipped on the run to the line, she does enjoy a sound surface, and has come out of the race fine, and has been entered in a mares novice chase over a more suitable 3 miles in Uttoxeter on Saturday. The intention is to run. Our Bubba cantered along with Getaway Mixie, and both are in good form. Good to Mixie's sire, Getaway have 2 very nice mares win over the course of the last few days - his mares do very well, and I am sure GM will be winning her share as well! Go Millie Go is on box rest for a few more days, and Land League continues on the walker - is recuperation is going well. Figarella Borget is being ridden and is behaving impeccably as ever. She was very good in the spring, and has picked up where she left off without a hitch - she has settled in well.
