Fiiday 21 December

Tomorrow begins a busy few days for some of the team. Queenohearts is declared to run in the Listed Mares' Novices' hurdle in Haydock. She has been pleasing the trainer, and goes into the race with a big chance of enhancing her already quite lofty reputation. She is already a Listed winner in a bumper, and was very near the top of last years class in that discipline, so hopefully she can go well tomorrow. It will be the first run for her on a 'speed track', but hopefully the very soft ground, that we know she copes well with, will mitigate this slightly. Molly Childers is in fine form after her wind op, and has a number of entries over the festive period. She is in the Lincolnshire National in Market Rasen on Boxing Day. This morning she has been entered in a 3m Mares handicap hurdle in Kempton, and will also have an entry in Doncaster over fences on the 29th. The 27th could be a very busy day in Kempton, with San Seb entered in the introductory juvenile hurdle, and Paul and Jan Wells', Maria's Benefit entered in the Wayward Lad Novices' Chase. Classic Ben will have entries in both Doncaster and Newbury on the 29th. Let' hope we get to go with all of them, and they are found the right opportunities! Good luck to all connections. Congratualtions to The Garratt Family who's A Little Chaos was a ready winner in Fakenham on Monday. A mare I purchased after her debut in a point to point, she was purchased by the Garratts, and looks a nice prospect going forward.
