Tuesday 5 March

Figarella Borget has been declared to make her debut in Catterick tomorrow afternoon. She is a lovely filly, but would not want the ground too deep on her debut - she is a slightly made filly, that will be much stronger next season, but she is fit and well, and deserves to take her chance if the ground is suitable. She has a lovely pedigree and goes well at home so hopefully she can give her jockey James Turner a great spin on his debut under rules. We did have Bryony Frost offered by her agent, but that was always a long shot, and rather than put up a lad we didn't know, we felt it was the right call to put James up - James works at Fences Farm, and rides FB in her work - so fingers crossed the ground doesn't get too deep, and they can both have a great day! Pull Together also makes the trip, and rain would not inconvenience him in the slightest. PT is a lovely horse, a winner in Plumpton last spring, he looks sure to make a better chaser than hurdler. He did make his chasing debut in November, but was found to be sick after that, and he needed a full break to get over it. he is back on song now, and hopefully he will run well tomorrow. There is a 1/5 share for sale in him! 07909 518902.
