Monday 11 March

The big week of the year has arrived - The Cheltenham Festival - and we are so lucky to have a runner there this week. Queenohearts takes her chance in the Dawn Run,Mares' Novices' Hurdle on Thursday. The step down in trip isn't ideal, but Stuart and Ciaran both thought that she wouldn't have the experience for the Grade 1, David Nicholson on Tuesday. There is rain forecast, and one thing can be sure - if she is in contention at the bottom of the hill on Thursday, she will not be stopping on the climb. Good luck to all of her owners, who had quite the debate about which race to run her in last week! Classic Ben has an entry in the £40,000 novices' handicap chase in Uttoxeter on Saturday, although the ground is heavy at the moment, and he would not want it like that. Lilly's Arc has entries in Market Rasen on Thursday, and Fontwell on Saturday - she will also be entered in Plumpton on Monday. She will need soft ground, and we will decide where she runs when we have seen all of the opposition. She has schooled well and is in good form. Pull Together has come out of his race in Catterick in good order, he shows no ill effects from his last fence fall and will be out soon. Figarella Borget, is slowly coming back to hand. She is taking a while to get her full appetite back, but she will have learned from the experience. Molly Childers is in fine fettle, and worked great on Saturday, she will head to Bangor later this month. Getaway Mixie looks great, and will hopefully be bacck on track soon. She is a quality mare, and we have to get the best out of her. Along with Queenohearts, Fences Farm will be represented by 2 further runners in Cheltenham, this week - Now Mcginty in the RSA, and Theclockisticking in the Pertemps, we wish their connections the very best of luck.
