She finished her career with a rating of 132 and is a half sister to the very talented Royal Auclair - who won 10 of his 59 starts and was also 4th in a Gold Cup, and second in a Grand National. Bleu D'Avril has already bred a black type performer in the shape of April Blue, who was third in an Auteiul Listed hurdle, and reached a rating of 130+ after winning a handicap at the same track. Our 3 yr old filly has also had a very significant pedigree update - as she is now the half sister to the dam of one of the most exciting prospects in Ireland - Blue Sari, who won on debut in a Gowran bumper in January by 11 lengths, before being touched off by 3/4 length in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival.
