I am on box rest for a few weeks - a long overdue ankle op has rendered me more immobile than usual - orders are non weight bearing for 3 weeks, then 6 weeks of boot/splint and then further rehab. Should be fun! At least we have some good cricket to watch! Fortunately it doesn't stop me trawling through horses for sale, and trying to unearth a couple more. Delighted to have secured a couple over the last week - by a couple of very exciting sires! All of the horses apart from 2 are back in their stables now. The last lot - Queenohearts, Classic Ben, and San Seb all returned from The Elms earlier this week. Ciaran was in yesterday and saw them all, and said how well they all looked - he was thrilled with how Classic Ben was - and got to have a little sit on Molly Childers among others. Stuart reports that Figarella Borget looks really well. The shares that became available in her were snapped up very quickly - but we do still have limited availability in the 3 yr old filly by Winged Love who will start her career in October. She is out of the black type French mare Blue D'Avril, and is therefore closely related to this years Cheltenham Festival, Champion Bumper 2nd Blue Sari. She has now been named and is called Blue Bikini - if you would like to secure your share in her let me know - the usual terms apply - £25/wk all inc, 1 O&T Badge every time she runs with extras available at cost. 4% of prize money she earns, Stable visits to suit, no fixed term - what more could you want?? He is in good form, but this is his first run back over fences for a while, and he could need a further bit of work on his wind in the near future.
