Friday 8 November

Go Millie Go ran a super race on her second start over hurdles on Monday. She travelled beautifully on the better ground, and once again jumped really well. Sadly for her, she just bumped into one - finishing a very good second (if there is such a thing)! Behind a very nice horse that was making his debut for a new stable. GMG has come out of the race well, and she will will be out again in around 3 weeks. We will keep an eye on mares series with her, and ensure that she is qualified for at least one of the finals, that are run at a variety of tracks in the spring. She is a lovely mare, and has a very bright future. Classic Ben has an entry in the Anne Duchess Of Westminster Memorial chase in Bangor On Dee next week. He will also have entries in Cheltenham and Fontwell, and we will look at ground and opposition before deciding where he will make his seasonal debut. Land League is an intended runner in Huntingdon on Tuesday - in a 2m 4f novices handicap chase. He has been dropped to 105, and will therefore get into the top of the weights proper. Sadly Getaway Mixie will not run next week in Ludlow, as she isn't quite 100% at the moment, and Our Bubba's seasonal debut has been delayed by a knock as well. Got to get around The Elms on Monday, and saw all of the young stock we have there. They all look really well - young Dean - the foal (by Doyen) out of Savingforvegas has really changed and developed well. He looks like he will be a big strong youth now. Saving forvegas is now back in foal to Blue Bresil. We have had several horses arrive for our investment syndictates - including a high quality yearling colt by Authorized, and two foals, by Masked Marvel and Youmzain. The one that really caught the eye is the Camelot yearling filly who is a lovely girl with enormous quality. She is a stand out, and being out of a black type mare, who has bred 3 black type performers including a Listed flat winner and a Grade 1 placed hurdler. She is the full sister to Gardens Of Babylon - and looks a very very smart filly. It is very exciting to have so many young horses around - and although many of them will be sold before they reach the racecourse - we do have a number that we have purchased/bred to go into training, and the future looks very bright! They are all well bred, and shares will be available in them all. Talking of the future - we will have some exciting news next week - keep logging on!!!
