Tuesday 7 July
Figarella Borget will be our first runner of the season tomorrow in Startford. A beautifully bred filly, she has been bought along slowly, as although she isn't the biggest she has taken her time to strengthen up. She makes her second start over hurdles tomorrow, and has schooled very very well, she is a real natural. She looks to have been drawn in the more competitive of the two divisions, but tomorrow is hopefully just a start for her, and we can look forward after we have her seasonal debut under her belt. Final prep is underway for the two horse that we are sending from the Elms Stud to next weeks Tattersalls Derby Sale in Fairyhouse. All three heading there, including a gorgeous son of Crillon that will be consigned by Francis Quinns' Railstown Stud look in fabulous nick, and we are looking forward to an enjoyable week out there!! I am in the process of putting together another syndicate, and would love to hear from anyone that is interested in joining in. There will be 9 available shares priced at around £2,250 and we hope to get our hands one one of our 'target' horses - a horse we have been tracking for some time due to it's performance profile and pedigree. Thanks to those that sent Birthday wishes for my 'half century' at the weekend - we did the best we could to celebrate for three days, and think we probably did quite a good job of it under the circumstances!!!
