Breeding Syndicate

We are offering the chance for 10 individuals to join us in breeding a racehorse. This is how it will work. I own the mare, Savingforvegas - she has been scanned in foal to top sire Blue Bresil. I will lease Savingforvegas to a syndicate for 12 months, and the foal that is born in 2021 will be the property of the syndicate that lease the mare. I feel this is a great chance to be involved in all sides of the bloodstock industry, from breeding to racing your very own racehorse, with stud visits and trainers visits all very much welcomed. Savingforvegas is a 3 x winning half sister to Cheltenham Festival winner Rathvinden, along with 133 rated Chapel Stile. She also has a half brother in with Gordon Elliott that is highly regarded, and a half sister that goes into training with Willie Mullins this season. Savingforvegas was a very good racemare herself winning her point, bumper and novice hurdle. Sadly her career was cut short when she slipped a tendon off of her hock in a piece of work at home. She has produced 3 bay colt foals since starting her broodmare career, the first, who is also by Blue Bresil goes into training this autumn. After the 2021 foal is weaned the ownership of Savingforvegas will revert to Olney Bloodstock Ltd - with the syndicate retaining ownership of the foal. Both mare and foal will board at The Elms Stud near Northampton. Costs are all inclusive, and will cover the keep of mare - mare and foal - covering fee, and all other associated costs. They are set at £150/month for 12 months, dropping to £100/month thereafter, until a time that the foal goes into training. There is no capital cost, as the 8,000 Euro covering fee for Blue Bresil has been covered in the monthly charges for the first 12 months. All VAT incurred will also be reclaimed on behalf of the syndicate. This is not only a rare and exciting opportunity to breed your own racehorse, it is the chance to breed your own racehorse out of a very decent mare, by one of the hottest stallions around at present. At the recent Tattersalls Derby Sale, progeny of Blue Bresil averaged a sale price of 60,500 Euros against an average sale price for the whole sale of 40,980 Euros.
