We are thrilled to have secured the lease of a 3 yr old half sister to our own ‘Wonder Mare’ Queenohearts. This filly is by Kalanisi, the sire of a host of top National Hunt horses including Katchit and Imperial Aura. The dam was unraced but is a half sister to the wonderful Macs Joy who was just touched off in a Champion Hurdle. It is a family I know well since I bought Queenohearts as an unraced 3 yr old in May 2016. She has turned out to be a super race mare – winning 5 of her 8 starts including Listed and Grade 2 events. We are very excited to have got our hands on her half sister and can’t wait to get cracking with her. Delays caused by Brexit have meant that she didn’t arrive in the country until mid March and headed straight to Jason Maguires to be broken in. This went really well, and Jason really likes her attitude. She will than have a short break before more education in late summer. The aim is for her to begin pre training with Jason in November, and then head into training with Fergal O’Brien around the turn of the year – with the aim to run her in a bumper in the spring of 2022. Shares: 4% shares are leased and are free of charge. Monthly payments are set at an all inclusive £110. 4% of prize money she wins will be paid out annually at the end of the season (June). 1 O&T Badge per share holder when she runs. Plus regular updates and stable visits.
