Monday 14 June

We have had a plan for Yauthym for a few weeks, and it was good to hear from Fergal O'Brien that she is in great form, and would be entered in the mares novices' hurdle in Worcester next weekend as planned. She had been really consistent since I claimed her out of a Lyon claimer in November 2019, but just hadn't quite managed to get her head in front - but she did it with some style last time out, and hopefully she will be like 'London Buses' and win two on the bounce after waiting for a while for the first. She will also be entered in Southwell on Monday, and we will look to see which race suits best. Yauthym is the only one in training at the moment, but time seems to be running away this summer, and it will not be long before quite a few of them head back to their trainers, or pre trainers. Blue Bikini, Hidden Beauty, and the Mamool 3 yr old will head to Fergal O'Brien in a couple of weeks. Auditoria will head to Olly Murphy, and Go Millie Go will head back to Fences Farm in a couple of weeks. Queenohearts will go to Jason Maguire at around the same time. Classic Ben and Volkovka will probably be a couple of weeks later as they both had their summer holidays delayed for a while. We head out to the Tattersalls Derby Sale next week, where we hope to sell a couple of lovely horses, and also add one to the squad. We are now sold out of all shares in the 10 horses that we have, but will be adding at least one more to the squad. We have a waiting list for one that we hope to get very soon, and we will also be adding one for juvenile hurdles this winter - it is something we do each year - and we have had terrific success doing so. Get in touch if you would like to get on the list for either syndicate. Last week we said we would be getting a flat syndicate together, and it was great to hear from a few people who said they would like to be involved with something on the level! We continue to receive enquiries and will do our best to incorporate everyone as soon as we can - but as ever - I will not rush to find a horse to fill the orders - I will wait for the right horse to fill the slots, and appreciate everyone's patience.
