Tuesday 30 September
Tuesday is the day that the BHB publish their revised handicap ratings for horses that have run in the previous 9 days. So it was with interest that we logged on this morning to see what the Official Handicapper had done to Important Business and Ogee. He deemed it fit to put IB up 5 lbs for coming second, and Ogee up 7 lbs for winning by 19 lengths. IB is now rated 115, and Ogee 125. Two very decent horses, who are both well and will be having entries again shortly.Kikos has a bit of a headache after his unfortunate fall on Sunday but we are sure he will fully recover and go on to some decent things over fences. There is now only 1/4 of Bobby Gee left for sale, so if anyone is interested then get in touch quickly, all the horses that have run this season seem to be running to better marks than last season, as we have seen with the weights of the two mentioned above, so off of 122 there could be a really nice race to be won with Bobby this Autumn. In fact we have had a look at a £25,000 Intermediate Hurdle at Cheltenham in November as an ideal starting point, so if you want a runner at the home of British Jump Racing then get in touch fast.(See the For Sale Page for further details)
