They say that there is no such thing as bad publicity, but good publicity is 100 times better. Today in the Weekender Kikos has gone down in their Mark Your Card section, I suppose all chances of nicking a decent price have now gone!! They are very complimentary about our big son of Nikos, who incidentaly will be ridden today for the first time since Sunday as he is getting very fresh and needs a bit of exercise, so his headache seems to have gone. The recent results have gone down well at Fences Farm and everyone seems to have a smile on their face (even Stuart) so long may it continue. The Weekender says the following: 'KIKOS (Mrs P Robeson). Sold out of Alan Kings yard in May after an uninspiring hurdling campaign, Kikos was showing marked improvement here on his chase debut for a new yard when he fell three out. He'd come through to lead, pushed along off the turn but staying on strongly when overjumping, hitting the deck and getting trampled by the chasing pack. He got up and jumped the next fence loose, so hopefully, his enthusiasm was not dented. If none the worse, he can win a handicap chase off his current mark of 97.' We think so!
