Tuesday 18 November

Looking at the horror show that was Mattaking at the tenth fence at Leicester yesterday it is amazing that both Sam and Matty got away with it. It really was a nasty fall, but I am pleased to say that Matty has trotted up sound this morning, and is out in the paddock, and Sam is Ok - he has no rides today, and is having a days hunting with the Oakley over some of their best and stiffest country! I think there will be a few empty saddles today, let's hope that Sams isn't one of them, but then again these jump jockeys are made of some bloody tough stuff. I am sure Sam will have a memorable day! No runners for a few days, so a chance to catch up with a few things. The next day out should be Kikos at Huntingdon on Saturday. The entries look fair, and if we escape this Siberian like weather that is evidently on its way we should have a good day out! If the members that would like to go could give me a call and let me know how many badges they want I would be grateful.
