Ogee steps back up in class again tomorrow as he heads to Sandown for the Class 2 Winter Novices Hurdle. He kept some pretty good company last year, and did well considering his hurdling was never that good. This year he has been a different horse and his jumping has got so much better, admittedly against a lower grade of opponent. On Raglan Road looks the one to beat, but with Howard Johnsons yard being in the frozen North, there may be a chance of getting the better of him, so let's keep our fingers crossed. Our best wishes go out to Mary Burchell, who is recovering in hospital after extensive knee surgery. Mary along with her husband Ian is part owner of Bobby Gee, Mattaking and Kikos, and is really enthusiastic about her racing and thinks the world of her 'boys'. We look forward to seeing her on the racecourse soon, and hope we can get her a winner or 2 in the meantime!! Get well soon Mary!
