Wednesday 10 December

Daurica makes her second racecourse appearance at Ludlow tomorrow in the Mares Bumper. She worked well on Saturday, and would hope she would run well, but I think it would be optimistic to think she will trouble the judge. She will come into her own when upped in trip and asked to jump a hurdle. A busy morning schooling, all had a jump apart from Mattaking who is still recovering from his little cut, and until that is properly healed he is still on light duties. Kikos and College Ace both schooled very well - Kikos will possibly have 2 entries next week (both Wednesday) at Bangor and Newbury, and the state of the ground will determine if we head north or south. Good to see Sam Thomas come through his recent spate of upsets and get a big winner under his belt when succesfull on Noland in Ireland yesterday. Noland is another product of the breeze up sales, a format that I very much like, and hopefully we will see some class acts like him on Friday when we go to the Brightwells sale at Cheltenham.
