Monday 6 April
A really good fun day out at the Pytchley Point To Point yesterday. Noble Rebellion ran nice race to be fifth on only his second start. Some very informative comments from Tom Ellis his jockey and trainer after the race which all had us laughing! He has come out of his race fine and will go again on some softer ground when and where we get it.He should win his maiden. A few entries this week - Kikos will take up his engagement at Hereford on Wednesday, as he is well and the horses are in such good form we thought it was the right move to strike while the iron is hot. Although Hereford is farm from my favourite track - and i was trying to think of reasons not to go - we decided that if we wait until the end of the month with him and we get rain, he will not be running, so it is best to go while things are in our favour. The rain later this week should make it more likely that Bobby Gee gets a run at either Wincanton or Haydock, College Ace who is in sparkling form and worked really well on Saturday is also in at Wincanton on Thursday along with Heebie Jeebie and Daurica. E Major has an entry at Plumpton on Sunday, and will also have an entry at Huntingdon on Easter Monday.Decisions about all runners will be taken nearer the time with half an eye on the weather.
