Thursday 9 April
It's all go over the next few days. College Ace runs today at Wincanton - he worked very well at the weekend, and we have high hopes of him staying the trip. He failed at the distance once before for Phillip Hobbs, but he is a different horse now and I think he will run a big race.A day at home tomorrow, then it's off to Haydock on Saturday with Bobby Gee if they get enough rain, he will have headgear on and will hopefully travel better through his race than he has been. Sunday its Plumton with Heebie Jeebie in what looks like a winnable race, and then E Major has a couple of entries on Monday, one at Huntingdon which looks quite warm, and a handicap at Fakenham. Originally we thought we would avoid the handicap route as he is only small, and will be burdened with plenty of weight, but the way things have panned out on entries it looks as though the Fakenham handicap is the easiest option and he will probably go there. Kikos is fine after yesterdays near miss, and is in the field this morning. He will be winning again soon.
