Wednesday 30 September

All of Stuarts hard work over the last few days has paid off, and Ogee was able to school on near perfect ground at Fences Farm this morning. Jimmy Mac was up to do the steering - it seems as though no one else is allowed to give him a pop these days!!- and he went very well alongside College Ace (who has been dropped 1lb to 128 after his Stratford run). It is now all systems go for Uttoxeter on Sunday as long as their ground is in good order. Everything else is ticking over waiting for this illusive rain - some forecast for Friday night, but it may not amount to much - at least the long range forecast has changed slightly, it had looked pretty dry for October, but it now seems as though it may be a bit more changeable after all! We will wait and see! At least Kikos is getting some well earned sun on his back, and I will hopefully get over to see him in the near future.Interesting to see King Troy win again at the weekend, now rated 140, it was a pretty good performance for Kikos to get so close to him earlier in the summer! Can't wait to get going with our big chesnut again!!
