After the welcome rain in the last 24 hours, Stuart and the girls have been able to school a few in the jumps field. He called last night to say that Jardin De Vienne and Bobby Gee had both schooled and gone very well. JDV has learnt fast, and is very proficient at his obstacles now, and Stuart was very impressed with Bobby Gee who fairly winged up the schooling fences. Stu was on Il Duce, with Bobby in behind and he said that he had to go a bit to stay in front!! - Bobs was making ground every time he left the ground, which considering his experience, compared with that of Il Duce, (second in a Paddy Power) means he was very good indeed. As I have said before we have always thought of Bobby as a very good chaser due to his natural ability over an obstacle, and that certainly seems to be the case.
