Unfortunately we were not the only ones to see how well Bobby was travelling on Sunday, and the excellent Andrew Barr in his The Talent Spotters column in todays Weekender writes: ' Bench Warrent won the 2m6f novices chase by a wide margin in the end but Bobby Gee was going better when rather softly unseating his rider five from home. Clearly there was still a long way to go and the chances are that Bobby Gee would have been no match for Bench Warrents stamina in the closing stages, having shown his best form over 2m 4f, but it was still an encouraging chase debut. The way he travelled and jumped suggests that he has taken really well to fences and can prove better than his current mark of 113.' Let's hope that most have forgotten these words by the time that we see Bobby again, which coiuld be on Hennessey Day. I have mapped out a plan for Bobby which at the moment we will keep to ourselves, but just to say that if it comes off we should have some very happy owners - who will have been to some of the very best meetings!! Ring me to buy a share, he has some very exciting times ahead!! Being the 11/11 we must remember those that have fallen for the good of this country, and it was really nice to see the minutes silence so well respected at Market Rasen on Sunday. We Will Remember Them.
