Rousing Rob had his bloods taken again yesterday to try and guage his recovery from the bug that has been afflicting him. He seems to be well on the way to recovery judging by the way he is feeling when he is out at exercise, he is taking a good hold and seems very full of himself. The blood test results have confirmed that he is getting better, but the key is not to press any buttons too soon with him, so that he takes a backward step - patience is so important at this job. His work has been stepped up slightly, and he is doing 2 canters, and will resume fast work early next week, his fitness levels should be OK, and he will hopefully be able to make his debut in December. Sam was in this morning and rode Jardin De Vienne in a piece of work with Willow Wren who went well, both are entered at Huntingdon on Saturday.
