Wednesday 3 March

One of the worst cross country trips awaits Galoshes and Rock Wren tomorrow as they make the awkward trip to Ludlow. It seems that no matter which direction you approach from, the journey involves negotiating slow roads, long hills, and sleepy little villages - but when you get there it is really quite pretty, with some victorian stands and a tweed clad crowd from roughly the same period! Galsoshes is back up in trip and should go well - he seems to be the right side of his handicap mark, and won his bumper on the track. Rock Wren has been working well, and is in a pretty weak looking 3 mile handicap hurdle - so good runs from both of them. With the ground beginning to show signs of just drying up a tad - Jardin De Vienne will soon step up his work so that he is ready to run when some good ground arrives.
