Mattaking is sound this morning, and will be on the walker for the next few days until his joint is injected next week. Important Business is entered to run at Uttoxeter on Sunday, and hopefully there will be enough rain about to take the sting out of the ground. Kikos is still on course for Aintree on June 11. E Major although entered at Uttoxeter on Sunday will bypass it and go to the next meeting there in a handicap. He will be upped to 2m 6f which should suit him well. We are considering an entry for Jardin De Vienne at Fontwell next week (June 2) in a 2m 2f handicap chase. Not sure that the extra 2 furlongs will suit, but the twists and turns of the tight figure of eight track may just keep him switched on. Brian Toomey will be first choice to ride if available, his 7lb claim is very valuable.
