Don't get carried away - we hardly have the best handicapped horse in the country, as the assessor has deemed it appropriate to drop our lad just 1lb to a mark of 120! I suppose we should be thankful for small mercys but I did think he may have gone down one or two more. He does at least get a chance to run in a lower grade which should suit when he returns to action in a few weeks. He has a rating of just 100 over hurdles so we may look at that option as well.
