Firstly apologies for Tuesdays news not being there - a technical hitch which involved me typing for ages only to forget to press the confirm button and the whole lot going down the pan! To catch up - hefty rise was not a summary of the employers finally appreciating my true worth and remunerating me accordingly - it was in fact an indication of what the handicapper had done to E Major after his stroll around Uttoxeter last week. He is now of the lofty mark of 130 (not bad for a novice) and if he is good for it he may well have a date in a decent Novice next spring. 'Brett The Vet' is on his travels today to vet a horse for the new Partnership. If he passes, hopefully Stuart can get him picked up tomorrow, and it will be a case of cracking on with him. Only 2 shares are left in him, so if you would like to put your name down give me a call. I will release details if and when he passes the vet, but I can say that the previous trainer thinks the owner is 'mad' to be selling him!! A bid is also on the table for the 'Club' horse, and hopefully I will hear today if it has been accepted, again give me a call if you would like to have a share in a lovely juvenile for the winter for only £20/week!! 07909 518902.
