Omaruru has settled in well, after coming from the sales yesterday. He really is some model, but is very weak, and strictly speaking an awful lot has been asked of him at this stage of his career, as he really does need to fill his tall frame. He seems a very friendly horse that does not look any bother. He will have a couple of weeks off, which will help him put a bit of weight on, but will not mean that he loses too much in the way of fitness. After a brief holiday he will come back into work and be got ready for a winter hurdling. I keep looking at his pedigree and can't get over how well bred he is - his dam was a short price for the French Oaks!! He also has a half brother by Kings Best that is in training with Sir Michael Stoute, and is rated nearly 90. All in all - when this fellow fills his frame and strengthens up he could be very exciting! If you would like to come and see both Omaruru (christened Rouey by the girls) and Robo,( in whom only 2 shares remain), then please give me a call on 07909 518902 - They will be paraded on Saturday morning - ring or email for further details.
