Saturday 14 August
It was a bit autumnal at Fences Farm this morning - but I am pleased to say that it did not stop plenty of folks turning out to see their horses. Alan Gibson was in to see Kikos who did a steady canter with Bobby Gee - both look terrific, Paul Collins, Kevin and Shaun Copperwheat, Donna Williams and Jack and Martyn Fowkes got to see this pair second lot along with their new boy Omaruru who cantered third lot. 'Omar' has put on stacks of weight in the short time we have had him, and looks very well, he will be introduced to the joys of jumping soon! Geoff Bridgford was in to see both of the new boys, and has decided to have a share in Robo - Geoff really liked him and like us all is looking forward to seeing him chasing this winter. We wish him luck with him. Robo is still walking and trotting but like them all is looking in great from with himself, he really is a likeable horse. There is now only 1 share remaining so you will have to get in quick if you want a share in a lovely staying chaser for the future. (07909 518902). Ann Garratt also popped in to see Kikos move and to cast her eye over Omaruru, unfortunately she had to leave before he cantered, but I can say that he is very athletic for a big baby, and moves beautifully.
