I am in the office today which gives me an ideal chance to finalise the Mattaking accounts. On Friday, I received notification of our VAT, which means I can calculate the balance of the account and settle up with the members, cheques will be in the post early next week. Although not particularly a fan of the flat as it all seems to be over a bit quickly for me (races and horses careers) it is definatley one of the seasons highlights this week - The York Ebor Meeting. If you have not been to York I would strongly recommend going, it is a fabulous course, great racing, and a really friendly atmosphere - even I have enjoyed my days on the Knavesmire, and there is not an open ditch in sight!!
