Yesterday I received some lovely photos of Mattaking, who we retired earlier this year. He is now living the life down in Essex in the company of some sufflok punches and shires that are often seen winning championships on the county show circuit. Matty will have the winter in the field recovering from the injury that forced him into retirement, and then he willbe on the go doing all sorts of things next summer before having a seasons hunting the following winter. As you can see from the photos he looks to have settled in very well, and we look forward to hearing about his exploits in the future. These horses give us so much pleasure whilst in training - it is only right that we make the effort to ensure that they are well homed when their racing career is over, and with Zoe, Mstty has found a wonderful home for life!
