Bobby Gee added another unfortunate chapter to his racing career earlier today when taking, what can only be described as a horror fall at the last at Market Rasen. Bobby showed all his old verve and travelled and jumped supremely well, and up until his heart stopping fall, his jockey, Aidan Coleman said he really was getting some spin. Shuffled back to fourth but staying on he chested the last and turned over side ways in mid air, hitting the ground hard and rolling over Aidan before getting galloped over by another runner. Bobby remained motionless for a few seconds that seemed an eternity, but eventually got to his feet, shook himself off and cantered home. It took Aidan a little longer to get back but the good news is that although both are a bit battered and sore, they are both OK. Bobby had a slight nosebleed, but came home fine, got off the lorry sound and soon had his head in his hay. This was a very lucky escape for both horse and jockey and both live to fight another day.
