Friday 29 October

The Silver Patriach half brother to Bobby Gee that is known as 'Grey Bobby' was collected from Michael and Fiona Kehoes yesterday to begin his first term in 'senior school' at Fences Farm. He is a good strong sort with a bit of attitude about him, so if it all goes well he could make into a nice horse.Good luck to all the members of his 4 man Partnership, George Milne, Ben Turner, John Burrows and Howard Cooke. We also wish Tim Frost all the best as his horse Sunday Sharpner makes his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter this afternoon. SS has been working well but is sure to benefit from the experience of jumping at race pace. A trip out to see Bedford Blues take on London Welsh tonight - should be a bit of fun (and a hangover in the morning), the game is live on Sky, so there should be a good atmosphere in the gound, and hopefully The Blues can post a win as the league is wide open at this stage of the season.
