Tuesday 9 November

Stable star Ogee is entered at Cheltenham on Saturday over the marathon trip of 3miles 3 1/2 furlongs - best of luck to him!! He is very well and enjoyed an away trip to Towcester last Friday morning to school over a handfull of fences and do a good strong piece of work. It is very kind of Robert Bellamy and his team to allow trainers to take their charges to the track and gallop on the morning after a meeting. For horses like Ogee, who is very laid back, and hardly gets himslef out of tick over at home it is vital that he can get away and just get the juices flowing a bit. Robo will be entered to run at Folkestone on November 16th as it really seems to be the perfect race for him. It is a Novices Chase restricted to horses rated 0-125 in which winners do not incur a penalty, so as he is in rude health and the race is perfect for him we intend to take our chance. It will be intersting to see how Anquetta runs at Taunton this week (if declared) as he is in with some very decent hurdlers, and it will give us an idea of what we beat at Fakenham.
