Two interesting points to take out of this weeks handicap rating adjustments. Firstly Bobby Gee has been left on 110, which considering he beat the horse in third by 14 lengths on his last start, looks quite handy. Hopefully the handicapper is giving us a chance now that he has his confidence up, and has got his jumping together. Also of interest is a new rating for a horse called Big Talk, who was fifth in Omaruru's race at Warwick. The handicapper has given Big Talk a rating of 104, and as Omaruru beat him nearly 18 lengths it would mean that Omar would get a mark in the low 120's on that run!! The assessor must rate the race, and as Omaruru will only improve due to his physical size (17hands) he is a lot to look forward to.
