Thursday

Yesterday at Huntingdon saw Robo's Fakenham form franked in no uncertain terms. Ovthenight, who was well beaten off at Fakenham (with a circuit to go), and was receiving weight from Robo that day, fairly bolted in by 12 lengths off of a mark of 105. This makes Robo look fairly useful, and I hope that Anquetta, the horse that was second to him in Norfolk does his bit for the form at Taunton today in their Novices Chase.Robo is entered at Folkestone and Fakenham next Tuesday, and given decent ground he will run at one or the other (a decision will be made over the weekend).Recent 'new boy' to Nick Brown Racing, Mike Cox found himself in the area yesterday afternoon and popped in to see his new horse Omaruru. Mike was very impresssed with Omar and the whole yard and is really looking forward to meeting up with everyone on the racecourse!! Ogee is on track to go to Cheltenham on Saturday - Jimmy was in yesterday morning to give him a school. Willow Wren is entered to run at Wetherby. Kikos is on course for Huntingdon or Leicester later this month (ground permitting), he is in great form and I am looking forward to running him off of his new mark.'Grey Bobby' is being very cheeky, and certainly has a bit about him - the girls are all having to sit tight! He is a spirited boy, which if chanelled in the right direction should see him in good stead!!
