Wednesday 1 December
Looking at the weather forecast it seems as though there is an outside chance of us getting to Warwick on Sunday with Omaruru. The thermometer looks as though it gets on the up on Saturday, with a positively balmy 3 degrees forecast and no frost overnight, so Sunday could well be on! Keep everything crossed folks!! Unfortunately until then it seems as though the arctic conditions prevail, which will mean a lean diet of sand racing from unpopulated tracks devoid of both soul and atmosphere!! Good job there are some re-runs of the Hennessy meeting on RUK. Robo still features very highly in Mr Bellinghams speed rating ranks! After the weekend the list now reads - Diamond Harry 121, Burton Port 120,Imperial Commander 118, Robo 118, Tidal Bay 117. Good company me thinks!! Hopefully a reprieve from the sub zero temperatures over the weekend will allow Cheltenham to get some frost covers on the course which will help them to get their next meeting on! I hope so as I am looking forward to seeing Robo take on some tougher opposition.
