Tuesday 4 January

I am sure it is back to work for many today, with all good intentions of changing a few things. I hope you manage to stick to them!! I have promised myself to buy a top class replacement for Robo - time will tell if I am successful! As expected (and feared) Bobby Gee has suffered at the hands of the handicapper this morning. After his win at Towcester, where he had Mr Big and Rate Of Knots behind in second and third he was raised 7lbs, which a the time I did consider 'fair', which I suppose is a euphamism for lenient, but after the beaten pair fought out a tight finish at Warwick last week, pulling 15 lengths clear of the third, Bobby has been raised a further 3 lbs to a mark of 126, which is in fairness, where I thought he would be after his win, so hopefully no harm done! He is still on course for The North Yorkshire Grand National on the 13th of January in Catterick.Omaruru is still on course for Huntingdon on Thursday - race time 1-10pm, I hope plenty of you can get the time off, I think it will be worth it!
