Saturday 8 January

A really good morning, all the horses looking and working very well. Good to see Ollie Creswell, who we have not seen for a week or two. This morning we saw Bobby Gee do a nice piece of work with his baby brother Grey Bobby, both went very well, with Grey Bobby looking great ahead of his bumper debut next week. We did have Friday at Huntingdon pencilled in for him, but due to a clerical error by yours truly he will now go to Warwick on Saturday (ground permitting).I had not noticed that the Huntingdon bumper is one of the rare ones that is restricted to horses aged 5 and above which rules the four year old Grey Bobby out, but the good news is that it should be a great family day out at Warwick, where Bobby Gee is hopefully a runner in the Totesport Classic Chase. It will be an extra special day for both George Milne and Ben Turner who have a share in both! What price a double?? Remember to get your copy of the Racing Post tomorrow which features an article about Bobby Gee and Nick Brown Racing!
