Omaruru,Ogee and Lureyno are all fine after their runs over the weekend. Ogee ran a blinder on Saturday, he missed the kick a bit, and was then hampered by a faller, so, all things considered after a bit of a lay off and a far from ideal preperation he ran very well. His Cheltenham participation is still undecided, and will only be made nearer the time. Lureyno has proved to everyone that he really doesn't want to be a racehorse, and will now bw found another job to do in another sphere. We were in London on Saturday night to see War Horse in the West End, which I can recommend to anyone. It is a great production, very cleverly done, with some very high class puppetry, and well worth a trip to see it. A late night was followed by an early morning, as I went down with Michael Kehoe and Nigel 'Brusher' Bliss to Tweseldown Point To Point where the Kehoes had 3 runners on the card, one as owners and 2 as trainers. Ringa Bay - in their ownership but handled by Phil York was sixth in the opening intermediate race, just getting undone by the quickest surface he has raced on. A stiffer track and/or softer ground will see him regain the winning thread. Pocket Park then went on to win the feature race on the card, the Mens Open by a comfortable 4 lengths, ridden by Phil York. A great run from the 6 yr old, and a great result for 'team Kehoe'. They rounded off the day with a 6th in the Maiden which they were very happy with as well. All in all a good fun day in the sunshine - well done to all!
