Sunday 16 April

It was a beautiful morning at Fences Farm yesterday, the 3 yr old Kayf Tara completed the next stage of her education yesterday when she did a genle canter on the gallop before breakfast. Second lot we saw Kevin and Jo Hornby pop over and bring Jos' colleague Peter over to see Kikos. Kikos did one gentle canter past them, and Peter has gone away to consider buying a share in our big 'ginger' star! Mid morning Fiona Kehoe arrived and dropped of Omaruru, and reloaded with the Kayf Tara filly who returned to their place until after Christmas. She is a lovely type, but will need plenty of time to fill out and mature so that she can live up to her impressive pedigree. We then dropped Omaruru over to Ann and Colin Garratts Ringtail Farm in North Crawley, where he will spend the rest of his holidays. In the afternoon Stuart and I headed north to see some lovely horses that will be heading to the Doncaster Spring Sales. We looked at half a dozen unraced and unnamed horses with lovely pedigrees, and were looked after very well by the vendors. More sales next week, and we are confident of adding to the current roster of horses there as well, so keep logged on as there will be some exciting updates coming over the next few days!! Remember - if you want to join us - all you have to do is call! 07909 518902. I have had plenty of interest in the last remaining Kikos shares this week, so don't delay there are only limited numbers left!!
