Not much to report on the horse front - although I am going through the May sales catalogue at Doncaster (May 24 - 26) to see if I can find any hidden gems. If you are interested in buying, and would like me to have a look at anything up there then please give me a call, another Kikos or Omaruru would do nicely! (07909 518902). It is turning into a very good year for one of our owners - Jay Tabb. Jay had his first winner as an owner at Lingfield earlier this year when his horse Bobby Gee won a handicap chase, which was a huge thrill for him, and last night his team Reading, where he plays in midfield, won the Championship Play Off semi final away at Cardiff. A great performance, and now it is next stop Wembley for the final on May 30 - we will be there to cheer him on, and hopefully Reading will make it to the promised land of the Premiership! Hopefully Jays good year will continue, as he is a member of the newly formed TMT Grand Partnership who own new boy Colebrooke. Jay is joined by Ben Turner (also in Bobby Gee), Bens Coventry City team mate James Macpake (new to ownership) and Premiership new boys, Norwich City defender, Elliot Ward (also new to ownership). We wish all the lads the best of luck with Colebrooke, who is having a brief rest after a busy spring, and will go Juvenile Hurdling later this summer.
