A super morning on the gallops this morning! First lot Colebrooke swung past with Silver Wren and both went very well. Colebrooke has come out of his Market Rasen fourth well, and is moving slightly more freely after some minor work on his back - Plumpton in 2 weeks looks on the cards for him, and I expect him to go well with his debut experience under his belt. There were plenty out second lot. Kikos and E Major led them up twice, and both worked very well, Kikos will be prepared for a novices hurdle at Plumpton on the 18th. The remainder were made up of Omaruru, Honeycreeper, Grey Bobby, Justazippy, and 'Exit'. All of these quickened up for the first time this season and all did it very well. Omaruru looks real class, Grey Bobby went very well and looks a real trier, he will go straight over hurdles as he schools very very well. The as yet unnamed 4 yr old by Exit To Nowhere also caught the eye. He quickened up,very very well, and although it is difficult to make a judgement on once piece of faster work, he does look to be a very nice prospect. He will now have to have a name and I will contact his owners for their suggestions, and we will decide by a vote. Omaruru is aimed at a handicap hurdle at Chepstow on October 8th.
