Tuesday 4 October

This morning Ed 'The Vet' Brett paid another visit to Omaruru and declared his job done! Omaruru has shifted his gas, and the gut function appears to have returned to normal, so with a very big sigh of relief he he has declared Omaruru back on the normal road to recovery! Our big man had a very close call for the second time in 3 weeks and it is a testament to him that he was strong enough to get over it. Although far from out of the woods - he has had a lucky escape! Thanks again to Ed and all the team at Fences, let's hope we can get him through to a full recovery with no further dramas!Jay Tabb and Ben Turner were in yesterday to see Colebrooke who has an entry at Chepstow on Saturday, but it looks a strong heat and is more likely to go to Uttoxeter the following week.Ben also watched the new boy being vetted, and is keen to have a share in him. Smart Exit is just on tick over until we get some rain and there is some juice in the ground, he will need a bit of cut, but I am sure he is worth waiting for! All 3 runners from the weekend seem to be find after their runs. I am really proud of Kikos, and we may just look at going 3 miles next as a bit of an experiment - if we are going to try now is the time.
