Friday 2 December
Colebrooke was scoped this morning before his intended run at Fontwell next Tuesday and he was given the all clear. A blood sample was taken as well just to make sure that he has no nasties lurking undetected, but in fairness it is just a precaution and they think he is in rude health! Heavy rain over the past 24 hours down on the South Coast has meant Fontwell has gone Soft/ Heavy in places, but with no further significant rainfall it should be fine for Colebrooke. Lets hope the testing conditions put a few of the others off coming! Silver Wren is declared to run at Warwick on Sunday with Sam taking the ride. SP could be a little sore after a nasty looking fall at Wincanton yesterday when he seemed in with a great shout of landing the spoils! Shame- but these boys are tough! Montegonian will go out later this morning, and Stuart ( I presume with his tongue in his cheek) said he should be skipping up the chase fences! If he is I bet he's not in the saddle!!! We moved a couple more shares yesterday, and look like having plenty of potential new owners coming to the yard tomorrow to have a look at him. They can only be impressed!!!! If you would like to come along then give me a call 07909 518902 - Christmas is fast approaching - what a lovely present he would make - and best of all he should be running over the holiday period, so it would be instant fun for some very lucky people!!
