A field of 12 has been declared in the first in Towcester tomorrow evening. So Kikos will have 11 to beat! Realistically there seem to be 3 in the race with any sort of meaningful form, although many have run very few times, so our big ginger lad should have a good chance. He will love the ground, and is the only runner proven on it, and, he is a course and distance winner, only that was over fences last year. He has lots in his favour, and sports a tongue tie for the first time. The Sporting Life website have him in at 13/8 fav! It is Ladies Night so there will be some sights on show, and 40 of his owners will be there to watch him so he better put up a good show - but then again it is Kikos - he always puts up a good show!! Tara Dancer is still pencilled in to go to the track on Saturday morning, let's hope by then we have a couple of more heads to look over stable doors at Fences Farm!
