Friday 25 May

It will be all go today between 4 and 8pm. Kikos runs in the 5.55 at Towcester, and with the recent defection of one of his two main dangers it means that he should go very close tonight!! He is currently the 13/8 fav, so we will not be getting rich in the betting ring! The ground has gone firm in places, but that should not be a problem. Robert Bellamy, the Clerk Of The Course is a top man, and really knows his horses so he will be pulling out all the stops to make sure that the ground, although quick, will be safe! This will very much suit our boy! Also this afternnon we will be on the hot line to Cheltenham where there is a good sale on. There are a mixture of horses entered, including some with some very smart bumper form and some good looking Irish point to pointers. I will be trying to secure one for a new little partnership, and Aiden Murphy will be trying to buy a nice 'Saturday' horse for two clients. I will speak to Aiden at lunchtime when he has looked over all of the horses, and we will draw up a short list! Hopefully 2 more at Fences Farm by tomorrow. The quick ground at Towcester means that Tara Dancer will only do the bare minimum tomorrow when she has a racecourse 'gallop'. There is no point in putting her back by doing too much on that going, but a trip there and a good look at the sights will do her the world of good anyway!! Busy times, but very very exciting!!
