Wednesday 30 May

Even if I say so myself - I was in blinding form lasy night! A short trip up the A1 to Huntingdon to their ladies night where I was due to host a preview with Tom O'Brien. Unfortunately this had to be shelved, but I was still asked to say a few words 'al fresco', and mangaed to highlight 4 winners and a second from the 6 races! I hope that the folks made a few bob and had an enjoyable night. Thanks to Tom McCreadie of Tom McCreadie Recruitment in Fresh Produce for kindly supplying our badges! Tom who has shares in all the Club horses sponsored the Novices Chase and had the hard task of judging the best turned out, and, handing over the prize to winning connections. He did a great job!! Yesterday on the gallops The Fonz was very good and should be ready to go next week. Tara Dancer did what was asked of her very nicely and Stuart was very pleased. He said that he had to go a bit on E Major to get to her - so she is certainly doing things right! Tannerman has settled in very well, and although we were expecting him to be a keen going type of horse he drops the bridle and does things just right. He will tick over this week, and buzz along with Kikos at the weekend. That should test him! I hope he does settle as he is bred to get a proper trip, and he will need to switch off in his races to achieve that!
