Our vet, Ed Brett, was in Michael and Fionas yesterday morning to scan Omaruru. The second step for him on his road back to full fitness. He had the injury site injected shortly after sustaining the injury, and has been on the walker for a few weeks. Yesterdays scan was a progress report, and it was all good news. His legs handle very very well and the lesion is 70% healed, and doing very well.His periods on the walker will be upped to 3/day now, and he should be able to go out in the field in 3 weeks. Ed will be back in to look again in 3 months. It looks as though there could well be an upturn in the weather which will be great news for Kikos, who will be entered for Uttoxeter next week.
