It was 'cold enough for a hair net' on top of the hill, with a wind from the north that felt like it was going through, rather than go round!! First lot saw Ogee do one and a half canters, and Colebrooke, The Fonz and San Telm do a really good piece of work, with C & TF going upsides with ST joining them through the middle. All went really well. It was good to see Ryan Boyce when we got back to the yard. Ryan popped down from the Midlands to give his horse Kikos a pat and a polo before he heads off into retiremnet on Tuesday.Ryan watched second lot, where we saw Smart Exit (entered Wetherby on Friday) work very well with Genny Wren, also in this lot were Reyno and Grassfinch, who along with Genny have entries in Uttoxeter,also Friday and Tannerman who moved really well in behind this group, it would appear that the work done on his back has been a success. Third lot we saw Benefit Cut do 2 strong canters with Aeschylus. BC will be scoped again this morning, and we very much hope that he gets the all clear as we are itching to crack on with him!! Sales next week, and we have a few targets to replace Kikos - lets hope we hit the spot!!
